Thank you for fixing my counter tops - I should have called the Handy Craftsman in the first place, and it would have been done right. I'm not a handyman - and my wife keeps telling me that next time we have a project, we're calling you right away! Manuel C. - Pittsburgh, PA 15263 |

Tile Installation – Mckeesport 15132
Porcelain floor tile is a superb choice for many types of spaces. It comes in a large variety of sizes and designs and is durable and simple to clean.
When selecting tile for your space, be sure to choose a size which goes well with the size of the space. A large room can look too busy with small sized tiles. Large sized tiles will overwhelm a small room. Floor tiles can be found in sizes which range from 1" to 2 feet which means you will be able to get a size that looks good in your space.
Furthermore, you should look at your decor prior to you buying your floor tile. When you have an elegant looking area then a polished marble tile may look great. For those who have decor with a southwestern, Mexican or Italian style then a rustic natural looking tile is the most suitable. A smooth, polished type of floor tile will probably be slippery when it gets wet so you may not want to install that in an entry room or bathroom. Also, tile gets cold so if you're setting it up in a basement, you better buy a warm pair of house slippers.
Don't forget to select a grout that complements your floor tile. A dark colored grout is better as a white grout will tend to get grubby looking quickly.
Tile Installation in Mckeesport 15132
Installing ceramic tile is not too difficult, but if you've never completed it before and are not really handy to start with you might be more well off with a flooring expert. There is nothing worse than paying a bundle on floor tile just to have it look lousy because you didn't do the installation right!
Once you have the tile set up, put in the grout as per the makers guidelines and seal correctly. It helps to buy a high quality grout and sealer and will be well worth the added expense in the end.
